A toothbrush tossed into a travel bag or left by the sink picks up germs. UV-C sanitizers are a simple way to keep your brush cleaner between uses. Here is a look at the Made By Dentists PRO-X clip and who it suits.
At a glance
- Product: Made By Dentists PRO-X UV Toothbrush Sanitizer Clip
- Price: $34.99 (checked November 3, 2026)
- Sale: $29.74 from November 19 to 26, then $27.99 from November 27 to December 1, as announced by the seller
- Features: 5-minute UV-C cycle, about 30 days per charge, fits manual and electric toothbrushes, TSA-friendly, per the brand
How it works
The clip snaps over the head of your toothbrush and runs a short UV-C light cycle. UV-C light damages the genetic material of many bacteria and viruses, which is why it is used in hospitals and water treatment. The clip also covers the bristles, so your brush isn’t touching other items in a bag.
Who it suits
- Frequent travelers and snowbirds who carry a toothbrush in a toiletry bag.
- Anyone who shares a bathroom or keeps brushes close together.
- People recovering from a cold or the flu who want an extra layer of hygiene.
What it won’t do
A sanitizer doesn’t replace good habits. Rinse your brush well, let it air-dry upright, and replace it every three to four months or when the bristles fray, as dentists recommend. Never look directly at UV-C light.
The bottom line
The PRO-X clip is a small, practical upgrade for travel and everyday hygiene, and the late-November sale brings it under $30. Check the current price.
