About Greg Wilson

Greg Wilson is the founder and publisher of Senior Affair Magazine, one of the leading online resources dedicated to helping older Americans navigate health, Medicare, caregiving, and quality of life in their senior years.

A Personal Mission Born from Caregiving

Greg’s journey into senior media wasn’t a business decision — it was a personal calling. Like millions of Americans, Greg found himself thrust into the role of caregiver for an aging family member and quickly discovered how overwhelming and confusing the world of senior care, Medicare, and eldercare resources can be.

“I remember sitting in a hospital waiting room, completely lost. I didn’t know what Medicare covered, what questions to ask the doctors, or what resources were available to help my family,” Greg recalls. “I searched online and found a lot of scattered, confusing information — but nothing that spoke directly to people in my situation.”

That experience sparked a mission: to create a trusted, plain-language resource that seniors and their families could rely on for honest, accurate, and actionable information.

Building Senior Affair Magazine

Greg founded Senior Affair Magazine to fill the gap he experienced firsthand. Since its launch, the publication has grown into a comprehensive resource covering:

  • Medicare — coverage guides, plan comparisons, enrollment tips
  • Senior Health — condition management, preventive care, wellness
  • Technology for Seniors — phones, hearing aids, medical alert systems
  • Financial Planning — Social Security, retirement, insurance
  • Caregiving — resources for family caregivers and professionals
  • Senior Living — assisted living, in-home care, housing options

Today, Senior Affair Magazine reaches hundreds of thousands of seniors and caregivers each month, providing trusted guidance on the decisions that matter most.

Editorial Commitment

Under Greg’s leadership, Senior Affair Magazine maintains a strict editorial standard: every article is researched thoroughly, fact-checked against authoritative sources (Medicare.gov, AARP, CDC, NIH), and written in plain language that seniors and their families can understand and act on.

“Our readers trust us with some of the most important decisions of their lives — their health coverage, their safety, their independence,” Greg says. “That trust is something we take incredibly seriously. We don’t publish content just to fill pages. Everything we write has to genuinely help someone.”

Greg’s Expertise

Greg has spent over a decade immersed in the senior care landscape, developing deep expertise in:

  • Medicare and Medicaid coverage navigation
  • Senior consumer products and services evaluation
  • Caregiving best practices and family support resources
  • Digital publishing and content strategy for senior audiences
  • Health literacy and plain-language communication
